Going Green/Environmental Training

Frank Lamparelli Oil Co., Inc. continues to be a leader in the oil industry.  All our delivery personnel, service technicians and management staff are haz-mat trained and certified.  We are a fully licensed and insured heating oil company.

Our company presently and continually strives to do our part to protect the environment.

Here is what Frank Lamparelli Oil does to promote a Green Planet:

• We do not sell or install any products which contain mercury. Our company has notified all our clients that we will accept any household item such as thermostats, thermometers, or any other mercury containing component and properly dispose of it in an approved hazardous waste container at no charge. Improperly disposed mercury has been shown to contaminate drinking water supplies.
• Our vehicles burn environmentally friendly fuels to cut down on pollution.  Effective June 1, 2007, we deliver Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (U.L.S.D.) to all our fleet clients and our vehicles.
• We dispose of all waste oil at an approved recycling facility for final disposal.  Not all companies do.
• All new equipment installed by Frank Lamparelli Oil is Energy Star certified. This reduces green house emmisions and cut down on electricity demand.
